Vrindavan: Pilgrimage for Lord Krishna’s Pilgrims
Have you ever been visited to any pilgrimage which is related to lord Krishna?
Today I am going to share one pilgrimage which is very famous for those who have faith in lord Krishna. So, Vrindavan is a place which is situated in Mathura district. It is so called as Vraj or Braj also. Lord Krishna spent a lot of mesmerizing childhood days here. Those days endowed this place with many temples dedicated to worship of Krishna and his loving Radha rani.

According to epic Vrindavan was rich with forests so Krishna, Balrama (His big brother) and His cowherd friends come and stole butter. Here they used to engaged in childhood pranks and fought with demons whenever they faced them and always Krishna got win over them. Varindavan is also said to as a meeting place for Radha and Krishna.
The main excursion pilgrimage or temples are mentioned below:
- ISKON Temple: Shri Krishna-Balarama temple is made by International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISKON). This temple is mainly for the worship of Krishna and Balaram. This temple is built with white marble stone and the engraving on this is very beautiful. Along with the lord Krishna there is a cenotaph of A.C. Bhaktidanta Swami Prabhupada, founder of ISKON. Its major fascination is evening worship or Aarti.
- Banke-Bihari Temple: It is very popular temple and exhorting for onlookers.
- Shri Radha Raman Temple: It is famous for Radha Rani and mostly revered by Goswamis.

Along with these main temples Vrindavan has a lot of temples as it is an alluring place. One can forget the hectic life as his visit here. The atmosphere is so holy and calm. The local peoples are so helpful and have sweetness in their voice. One can get rapt with this auspicious place.

You will come to know folklore about Krishna. Along with folklore you can also know the incarnation of Krishna and miracles. So, this is main impeding for sages.
