Hi

We`re thinking about visiting Romania next year, mainly to do some hiking.

I`ve found some good websites, particularly http://www.greenmountainholidays.ro/ which was a Lonely Planet (Eastern Europe Guide) recommendation, but I`d be interested in any info and recommendations based on first-hand experience.

Your idea of going in Romania is very smart. You�€™ll understand this later on, being there: fantastic sceneries, warm people, excellent food and very affordable prices! I am Romanian but I live in Canada. I have just made a trip in Transylvania and I was again amazed by the striking beauty and atmosphere. You will be very impressed!
