Nainital: Overview
Nainital the famous hill resort of India, has been the centre of attraction for thousand of devotye lovers of natue. Situated around a beautiful lake. an attitide of 1938 metres above sea level. The name "Naini" is derived from a temple to the goddess Naini Devi built on the upper adge of the lake and destroyed ny the landslip in 1880 A.D. It was subsequently replaced by a modern structure.
