Hazari bagh town, the head quarters of the north chotanagpur division 233 kms. from Patna and 93 kms from Ranchi. Lying 616 meters above sea level. Hazribagh meaning a thousand garden's is one of the Bihar's most beautiful town. It is yet another popular hill resort, well-known for its scenic beauty and excellent climate. Close to this lies, the canary hill which has a well laid out park and ls studded with three small lakes. The Hazaribagh lake in the vi¬cinity also attracts the visitors.
